Junior volleyball is available for players ages 10 to 19 (high school players). Many areas have opportunities for girls of these ages while only a few areas in the state have opportunities for boys.

The purpose of the USAV Junior National volleyball club program is to offer young volleyball enthusiasts an opportunity to learn and participate in volleyball competitions beyond the school related activities. Club volleyball offiers players the chance to receive instruction in skills development and team strategy as well as to participate in a team environment learning teamwork and sportsmanship.

USAV Junior National volleyball competitions run from November through the first week of July at a Nationals competition. Each October-November, tryouts are held and invitations extended to area players. Team tournament competition is by age group as defined by the USA Volleyball.
